An Exciting Opportunity to influence Critical Care Nursing!

Calling all BACCN North West Regional Members,

  • Are you keen to develop professionally as a critical care nurse?
  • Are you looking for career development opportunity
  • Are you interested in finding out about (or influencing) the future of critical care nursing?

If yes to any of the above, we are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic critical care nurses from the North West region to join a new formed inspiring BACCN committee. There are no specific qualifications required and you can be any grade of nurse in order to contribute to the local BACCN regional committee.

All you need to be is a BACCN member who is enthusiastic to take forward the work of the BACCN within your region. The purpose of the Regional Committee is to provide education and support for critical care nurses within the region. If you're passionate about critical care nursing and would like to be part of a team to help to further train and develop critical care nurses across the region, we would really love you to come along and join us.

If you would like any further information please contact Donna Cummings via donna.cummings@cmft.nhs.uk or alternatively you can contact us by email at support@baccn.org or by calling 0844 800 8843.

We look forward to hearing from you!

URGENT REQUEST TO MEMBERS

Have you ever thought about joining BACCN's North West Regional Committee? We URGENTLY need additional committee members to help us continue to develop our events and services for our regional members.

The commitment is not overwhelming but does require that all committee members are actively involved in various regional projects – this can range from the planning and running of regional study events to taking minutes at committee meetings. With a full committee nobody has to do too much.

The committee are also looking to enrol the help of members in every hospital and in all areas to become a link between their workplace and the regional BACCN committee. The link would be required to put up posters in their unit and around their hospital/work area.

For further information about becoming a regional committee member or a link member please contact Vicky Quinn, Membership Administrator, via membership@baccn.org.uk
We look forward to hearing from you.
