February 2017 Newsletter

The start of 2017 has seen some changes within the committee and given us some fresh ideas for how we can better serve you.
In 2016, it was with regret that we had to cancel the November study event due to low delegate numbers. In order to improve future study events we now have Echo Events who will help facilitate keeping everyone up to date with our future events and provide a better booking system.

We are also in the process of organising social events as well as study events. This will be the first time we have tried anything like this and it will be interesting to see if this is something that people are keen to participate in. The events will not only be a great opportunity to enjoy our summer cheese and wine evening, but you will also have the opportunity to network with like minded people and your regional committee members. In order to facilitate this change, we are now pleased to announce that Ian Naldrett & Marc Robinson will now be taking the position of social secretaries.

We will be holding two study events again this year. On the 15th June we will be heading off to Brighton again - click here before the 1st March to take advantage of the early bird rate and reserve your place.
We will keep you posted on the later event.

Rachel, our link member liaison, has been contacting all link members to gauge what we could better be doing to communicate with all our wonderful link members.

Don’t forget if you are on Facebook, Linked’In or Twitter then please click on the links and keep in touch with all our updates.
If you are a link member and would like to assist the committee during the June study event contact Rachel to apply.

We are also looking forward to seeing all of you at the 32nd Annual Conference 2017 - on 4th and 5th September 2017 at the Park Plaza Riverbank, London. Checkout the BACCN Conference website for more details.

Thanks, Emma
