December Twitter Chat #pets

17th Dec 2019

On the 11th December 2019 7-8pm the BACCN hosted a Twitter Chat regarding Animal Assisted Intervention/Pets as Therapy theme, specifically looking at its emerging role within the Critical Care environment.  The Twitter Chat was moderated by Patricia McCready, who is representing the BACCN on an Intensive Care Society (ICS) working group which is currently writing the guidelines for Animal Assisted Invention within Critical Care.

It was a lively hour with good engagement and participation, a Wakelet summary of the ‘tweets’ which has been collated by Karin Gerber can be found on the following link: https://wke.lt/w/s/r_oz_l

On behalf of the BACCN National Board I would like to thank all those who participated during the Twitter Chat.

Watch this space for our next twitter chat which will be taking place on the 16th of January 2020 where we’ll be discussing “Enhanced levels of care: how does this impact on ICU” #baccnenhanced

Deputy Finance Director of the BACCN
