10th Dec 2021

The BACCN have been asked to contribute to an investigation into arterial line safety with the Health Care Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB). Details about the work HSIB do may be found here: https://www.hsib.org.uk/

As part of their investigation, HSIB wish to gain the perspectives of any particular safety issues encountered by our members. Please could you therefore complete the very short, anonymous survey  below.

This should not take longer than 5 minutes. Your email or URL will not be collected or stored, therefore your responses will not be traceable to you. I would ask that you do not disclose the name of your employer or any information that may identify you or your employer within your responses. The information you provide will be used to inform the investigation into arterial line safety by HSIB who will be exploring trends in practice rather than specific incidents.

Thank you in advance for supporting this important work that will hopefully improve the safety of our patients in critical care.
