 Your Region Needs You!

We are looking for enthusiastic link nurses to join us in developing and promoting the voice of Critical Care Nurses throughout Wales.

The key roles of a link nurse include:

  • Assisting the regional committee in promoting the work of the BACCN in the unit within which you work.
  • Liaise with the regional committee to identify the needs of local members.
  • Provide assistance to your colleagues in joining the BACCN.

In return as a committee we will:

  • Invite you to attend committee meetings where you can meet with the Regional Committee members and fellow link nurses.
  • Offer you discounted attendance at regional study events.
  • Provide you with the opportunity to network with Critical Care Nurses from across the Wales region and participate in the sharing of knowledge and skills.

For further information please contact Judith Burnett via email on judith.burnett@wales.nhs.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!

An Exciting Opportunity to influence Critical Care Nursing!

Calling all BACCN Wales Region Members,

  • Are you keen to develop professionally as a critical care nurse?
  • Are you looking for career development opportunity
  • Are you interested in finding out about (or influencing) the future of critical care nursing?

If yes to any of the above, we are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic critical care nurses from the Welsh region to join a new inspiring BACCN committee. There are no specific qualifications required and you can be any grade of nurse in order to contribute to the local BACCN regional committee.

All you need to be is a BACCN member who is enthusiastic to take forward the work of the BACCN within your region. The purpose of the Regional Committee is to provide education and support for critical care nurses within the region. If you're passionate about critical care nursing and would like to be part of a team to help to further train and develop critical care nurses across the region, we would really love you to come along and join us.

If you would like any further information please contact Heather Howells via heather.howells@carmarthen.wales.nhs.uk   Alternatively you can contact Vicky Quinn, Membership Administrator, via membership@baccn.org or by phone on 07879 427583.
