Survey on changes to organ donation legislation.

28th Sep 2021

BACCN members are invited to participate in a short online survey that should take about 10-12 minutes to complete. This survey is part of the national evaluation of the Organ Donation (Deemed Consent) Act, 2019, commissioned by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

The focus of this survey is learning more about your understanding, views and any experiences of the changes to organ donation legislation introduced in May 2020 in England. We will also ask you a bit about your experiences of COVID-19 and anything else you would like to share. It does not matter if you do not work directly in organ donation and transplantation, your views matter and will help us understand more about the impacts of the changes from multiple perspectives, support organ donation and transplant services, and help to continue to deliver best care. You can read more about the study here, or by contacting the research team directly on the details below.

You have been sent this information on behalf of the research team at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The research team do not know who has been given this link, but should you agree to complete the survey, you will be asked at the end to provide an e-mail address to enable them to invite you to a follow-up survey in 12-18 months’ time.

You can help us by completing this survey as soon as possible, no later than 18 October, which is when the survey will close. When you click the link below you will be presented with a series of open and closed questions. The data you provide will be anonymised and analysed by members of the research team. You can find out more about how we use your information here, or by contacting the research team.

Please click on the following link, or scan the QR code which will take you to forward to the online survey.
