Survey to explore current practices related to weighing patients in Intensive Care Units

12th Mar 2025

You are invited to participate in research as below:

"On behalf of the Critical Care Patient Weight Project Group at King’s College Hospital, we are conducting a UK-wide survey to explore current practices related to weighing patients in Intensive Care Units (ICUs).

Accurate weight measurement plays a key role in medication dosing, nutrition management, and fluid balance assessment. The survey aims to assess current practice, identify challenges or barriers and gather perspectives on potential improvements in obtaining accurate patient weights.

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and is entirely anonymous, though with an option to leave contact details at the end if you would like to keep in touch. It can be accessed through this link: https://redcap.link/zlkql8lg

or QR code

The survey will remain open until Friday 28th March 2025.

Additionally, we would be grateful if you could disseminate the survey to colleagues within your organisation and critical care networks, in the hope that we can capture diverse perspectives and make meaningful improvements in patient care."
