Professional Nurse Advocate Role in Critical Care - pre-conference workshop, Blackpool, Oct 6 2025

BACCN Conference is very excited to invite all Critical Care Professional Nurse Advocates and those interested in the essential role within Critical Care to join us at Blackpool for a special pre-conference workshop on Monday, October 6th, 2025, from 13:00 to 16:00.

This session will build on the collaborative work between BACCN and CC3N over the last two years. Prof Liz Lees-Deutsch and colleagues will discuss the latest research outcomes from the national SUSTAIN-ING project, contextualizing challenges, opportunities and key success factors regarding introducing quality improvements and PNAs.

Karen Wilson (Lead for National CCPNA COP) will share the results of a recent PNA survey and discuss the ongoing work of the Critical Care Professional Nurse Advocate Community of Practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity to meet up (in person) with like-minded professionals, celebrate the work done so far, and discuss the way forward.
